BCBA

As a BCBA, you can manage your own schedule and do your case planning from the

comfort of your own home. We have both full-time, salaried positions and part-time,

hourly positions available. Additional benefits are discussed below!

Our therapists provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals

diagnosed with autism and other developmental delays under the guidance and

supervision of a BCBA. With this position, you'll be working in-home with families,

implementing ABA programs, training BTs and RBTs on implementation of programs,

and establishing parent training opportunities in order to promote generalization of

programming, maintenance, and carryover of acquisition skills.


Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Job Responsibilities:

● Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and write progress reports

● Develop & monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans

● Supervise and train therapists

● Develop and monitor individual behavior management protocols and behavior

intervention plans for clients

● Provide support, instruction, and feedback to families and caregivers with regard

to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors through

the principles of ABA

● Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analysis of all problem

● Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection,

and monitor progress

Requirements:

● Must have a current BCBA Certification

● Master's Degree in ABA

● Master's Degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field

● Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle

● Previous ABA Experience

● Must be comfortable working with families and providing in-home and

community/school services if needed

Lead Case Supervisor

Responsibilities:

● Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and write progress reports under

the guidance of BCBA.

● Develop, monitor, and follow individualized treatment plans and behavior support

plans under the guidance of BCBA.

● Supervise and train therapists under the guidance of BCBA.

● Maintains a small caseload 1-3 clients

● Provide direct client care in 1:1 in home, community, and in school setting

when needed

● Follow, collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.

● Conduct parent and caregiver training based upon client’s individualized

treatment and behavior reduction protocols under the guidance of BCBA.

● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.

● Collaborate with a treatment team including clients, parents and caregivers,

outside professionals, practicum students and co-workers.

● Attend required training and workshops.

● Maintains high level of integrity, professional standards, and adheres to the

BACB Ethical Guidelines.

● Complete weekly programming updates to individual treatment plans.

● Preparation of training materials for client programs.

● Update and maintain data collection systems and disseminate information

to team members.


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

● Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client

progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

● Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill

sets accordingly.

● Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at

once.

● Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients,

co-workers, supervisors, and community members.

● Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment.

● Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling,

squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.

● Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.

● Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body

movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of

working with children with challenging behavior.

● Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic

device functions for data collection.

● Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include

home, school, and community placements.

● Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.

● Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication

through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.

● Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between

different job sites.

● Must have a valid Driver’s License & insurance in good standing


QUALIFICATIONS:

● Required: Must have completed at leasy 50% of coursework for the BCBA

and/or BCaBA credential.

EXPERIENCE:


● Required: None required as long as candidates meet all BACB

requirements in order to begin BCBA and/or BCaBA supervision (see

“Qualification” above).

● Preferred: Experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis settings and

experience working with children in an educational and/or clinical setting.


EDUCATION:

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

● Preparation of reinforcers and reviewing updates and communication prior

to the session with a client

● Participation in client team meetings

● Introing new therapists to the team

● Holds RBT certification and works as a therapist for over 3 years

● Effectively communicate with coworker

● Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill

sets accordingly.
