Jack Loris
As a dedicated special education teacher with years of experience supporting students with autism and intellectual disabilities, I bring both passion and expertise to individualized learning. I’ve led self-contained classrooms, developed and implemented Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and collaborated closely with service providers and families to ensure every student receives comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.
My teaching style is relationship-driven, adaptive, and deeply rooted in helping students thrive not just academically, but socially and emotionally. One of the most meaningful moments in my career came when I brought a guitar into my classroom. Students who had limited verbal abilities began to vocalize and engage through music. That moment reignited my lifelong passion for music and now plays a central role in how I connect with and teach my students.
I’m excited to bring my skills to a homeschool setting where I can offer personalized instruction, build strong family partnerships, and create a flexible, enriching environment that supports every learner’s growth- through a structured curriculum, hands-on learning, and the transformative power of music and artistic abilities.
